The Future Ready Engineering Ecosystem first workshop will focus on defining key competencies for the future-ready engineering workforce and will identify a prioritized taxonomy of the disaggregated key competencies with the essential details and context summaries to provide meaningful specificity. The result, a Future-Ready Engineering Ecosystem Competency Taxonomy (FREE-CoT), will serve as the desired student outcomes to inform the work for the second workshop.

Dorota Grejner-Brzezinska, ERVA PI will give an introduction to ERVA addressing how the PNT community can help identify and develop bold and transformative new engineering research directions, and to catalyze the engineering community's pursuit of innovative, high-impact research that benefits society.

ERVA will be presented during the UIDPConnect conference. Jennifer Carinci, Executive Director, will moderate a PI-team panel comprised of Dorota A. Grejner-Brzezinska, Edl Schamiloglu, and Charles Johnson-Bey.  

Dorota A. Grejner-Brzezinska, ERVA PI and Tony Boccanfuso, ERVA Co-PI, present at QS Americas virtual conference on a panel moderated by ERVA’s research intelligence contractor, Elsevier. Questions addressed included: What approaches to research and innovation should be prioritized the short-term, and how can it be supported over the next decade? 

Dorota A. Grejner-Brzezinska speaks at this event which focuses on three key themes over three half days: catalysts for innovation at pace, a return to multilateralism, and transitioning to a sustainable future. 

ERVA co-PI Tony Boccanfuso will present on a panel to the Meeting of the Board of Chemical Sciences and Technology on the topic, "Preparing the American Chemical Enterprise for Disruption." The overall goal of the BCST is to provide our nation’s decision-makers with the highest quality scientific and technical advice. Boccanfuso will present information about UIDP, ERVA's administrative agent, and the role of ERVA in the U.S. engineering research landscape.
