Roman Caudillo

Research Scientist and Academic Research Programs Manager, Corporate University Research, Intel Labs

About Roman Caudillo

Roman received his BS from Yale University and his PhD in Materials Science at UT Austin under Nobel Laureate John Goodenough. At Intel, Roman has been a Research Scientist in Components Research where he has worked on EUV, 2D materials, as a researcher in residence at MIT, on spintronics, and in quantum computing fabrication and measurement for superconducting and Si spin qubit technologies. Today, he is a Research Scientist at Intel Labs where he also manages Intel’s academic research investments in the Corporate University Research group. Roman holds 25 patents ranging in topics from 2D materials to quantum computing for both superconducting and spin qubit technologies.
