About Ananth Dodabalapur

Ananth Dodabalapur is the Motorola Regents Chair in Electrical and Computer Engineering No. 1 in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.

He has published more than 350 articles, most in refereed journals, and holds more than 27 U.S. patents. He is a co-recipient of the 2002 Award for Team Innovation from the American Chemical Society and a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Dodabalapur was elected a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors in 2021.

His research interests include thin-film semiconductor devices and circuits including nanoscale transistor design and device physics, and new computing devices for back-end-of-the-line and heterogeneous integration applications.
