About Keith Hall

Keith Hall is a Principal Associate and Geographic Discipline Leader with Colliers Engineering & Design in their Hamilton, NJ office.  He holds professional registrations as Professional Engineer (PE) in the states of New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, North Carolina; Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE); and LEED Accredited Professional BD+C.  His experience as a subject matter expert on various traffic and transportation projects for both private clients and public agencies spans traffic engineering, intersection capacity analysis, traffic control, traffic calming, bicycle facilities, roadside safety, roadway lighting, pedestrian accessibility, and transportation equity.  He is also a leader in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Transportation Technologies arena, having led many systems engineering and design projects that featured Advanced Transportation Management Systems (ATMS), Adaptive Traffic Signal Systems, Smart City Applications, and various other cutting-edge technologies. 

Mr. Hall has taken an active role in designing transportation facilities to accommodate all modes. While earning his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, he concentrated on urban street design having obtained unique experience participating in an international study abroad in the Netherlands entitled Design for Sustainable Urban Transportation: European and U.S. Perspectives. This program focused on Dutch transportation planning and design in a country that enjoys the world’s finest bikeway system and an excellent public transportation network.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Intelligent Transportation Society of New Jersey (ITS-NJ).  He sits as the current Chair of the Institute of Transportation Engineers’ (ITE) Sustainability Standing Committee and Chair of ITE’s LeadershipITE Steering Committee (alumni of the 2016 class of LeadershipITE), an international program which identifies and develops the next generation of transportation leadership.  Mr. Hall is also active in the transportation industry as a speaker/moderator for numerous conferences/seminars, co-authored publications, and is an active participant on ITE’s Professional Development Committee and newly formed Equity Committee.  His recent notable awards include the ITE Young Member of the Year Award (2022), ITE Northeastern District Rising Star Award (2019), and ITE Met Section Young Professional of the Year Award (2018), and ITS-NJ Outstanding Young Professional Award (2017).
