Sheng Lin-Gibson is chief of the Biosystems and Biomaterials Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The division has a multidisciplinary portfolio that includes genomic measurements, synthetic biology, regenerative medicine, advanced therapies, biomaterials, diagnostics and complex microbial systems. It carries out its mission through fundamental research in measurement science, the development of new technologies and the deployment of new measurement solutions, including reference materials and data.
