Felix Lu currently serves as the Director of Corporate Engagement for the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago. Prior to 2018 has served a variety of roles art the University of Wisconsin - Madison including Faculty associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Co-Director of the Advanced Materials Industrial Consortium (AMIC), Assistant Director for Industry Outreach for the Grainger Institute for Engineering, and Associate Instrumentation Innovator. Before his time at UW Madison, he lived in Durham, NC, and served as visiting faculty for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. While there, he also co-founded a high technology startup company with a faculty member at Duke, and served as Vice-President, COO, and the Director of Microsystems Engineering. Prior to that, he worked as a research scientist at the Boeing Satellite Development Center in El Segundo, CA, on the reliability of electronic devices, materials, and systems for satellite applications. He received his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California at San Diego in 2004.
