Cadence True began her career as an academic researcher with studies focusing on neuroscience, endocrinology, obesity and reproduction.  Cadence received her PhD in neuroscience from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), followed by a Post-Doctoral position at Massachusetts General Hospital and Research Assistant Professor appointment at OHSU. In 2020, she joined the OHSU Technology Transfer team with the goal of supporting OHSU inventors in moving their great discoveries from the lab to the bed-side. In her current role as Technology Collaboration Manager, Cadence helps connect innovative OHSU technologies to industry and venture partners for co-development and licensing opportunities.
