Zach Courtright, the CEO of LeapFast Manufacturing Inc., brings ten years of prior experience at NASA MSFC as a Welding Engineer and the In-Space Manufacturing Portfolio Manager. He has expertise in advanced manufacturing processes ranging from welding and additive manufacturing to high-throughput testing and Digital Twins. This expertise has resulted in two awarded and one pending patent. Beyond his technical depth, he has experience leading highly dynamic and interdisciplinary teams to accomplish state-of-the-art technology development. He has developed team cultures around hybrid project management practices and rapid development cycles while implementing and presenting complex strategies to government, industrial, and academic stakeholders. At LeapFast, he is spearheading the process of building a culture, vision, and technology development plan. He is a private pilot and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
