Bobby Pitts is a Sr Technical Program Manager with Google Cloud. He has spent over 25 years in the semiconductor industry, starting at Motorola in R&D semiconductor device development, where he held the position of Principal Scientist. In 2022, Bobby retired from Intel Corporation as a Department Manager at the Ocotillo Technology Center, Intel's largest chip manufacturing facility. While at Intel, Bobby made contributions to manufacturing efficiencies, quality control, and wafer affordability.
Bobby received his BS in Johns Hopkins University and a PhD from Cornell University, both in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Electrophysics. He has published over 10 papers in refereed journals and conferences.
Bobby is excited to be a member of the ERVA team and is looking forward to the opportunity to advance the cause of Distributed Manufacturing.
