Ejaz Haque is an engineer at Becton Dickinson (BD) in Salt Lake City, UT specializing in the development of antimicrobial medical devices. He is passionate about early Phase Gate research and technology commercialization for detection and prevention of infection. Haque promotes this passion in his work by fostering connections between BD and academia via participation in conferences, engagement in partnerships with local universities, and organization of an internal seminar series with leading experts in the biomaterials space. He earned his doctorate in materials science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
